On November 12, 2004 at the 5th National Conference of the Trigeminal Neuralgia Association in Orlando Florida, Dr. Berkel gave a timely presentation on “A New Approach To Post Herpetic Neuralgia – For Getting Well Again.”
Dr. Berkel was invited to be on a panel of Alternative Medicine experts, to research and plan the development of programs for the Trigeminal Neuralgia Association.
Dr. Berkel has developed the topical analgesic “PainBreak,” which has brought relief to thousands of Post Herpetic Neuralgia sufferers. He continues to actively research new products and modalities for managing this problem.
Boyce N. Berkel, MD is a graduate of Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He worked as a full time Emergency Physician for 23 years, during which time he also developed an expertise in Alternative Medicine. Since 1997, he has worked tirelessly to help, and find solutions for, those afflicted with Post Herpetic Neuralgia.
Dr. Berkel earned a PhD in the Science of Nutrition in 1981.
